Celebrate Independence Day the Fort Pierre way with bucking broncs, bull riders, and barrel racers at our legendary 4th of July rodeo. Rodeo will take place both days at the Stanley County Fairgrounds.
July 3rd: 7PM - 12AM CST
July 4th:
𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧
The Fort Pierre Annual Parade on July 4th starts at 10am CST.
Bands, tractors, floats, and firetrucks—this parade has it all. Make a Fort Pierre tradition your own by lining Main Street for one of the state’s most iconic 4th of July parades! Stick around after the parade to watch the B-1 flyover from Ellsworth Air Force Base. The flyover will take place approximately 12pm, flying North to South over the Oahe Dam and proceeding over Deadwood Street.
Many local businesses and venues will be open while you wait for traffic to subside.
