Ladies, Let's Fish: Angler Academy

Ladies, Let's Fish is a 3-part series designed to encourage women to confidently take part and enjoy the sport of fishing. The classes will be held on May 15th, May 29th, and June 12th at 6 PM at Snake Creek Recreation Area. We encourage participants to take part in all 3 sessions.
Angler Academy: May 15, 6-8 PM
- Set up fishing poles
- Learn to tie lures and understand their purpose
- Basic fishing pole use
- Learn about regulations and licensing
- Species recognition and how to target specific fish
- Shore fishing session
Catch, Clean, Cook: May 29, 6-8 PM
- Spend time catching fish
- Learn how to clean fish
- Outdoor cooking techniques
Women on Water: June 12, 6-8:30 PM
- Boater safety instruction
- Learn to back a trailer
