Roam Free Park Trail

A Trail with a View

This epic trail in Chamberlain starts in Roam Free Park atop a high bluff overlooking the river and then runs into downtown Chamberlain and along the river's edge.

Walk or bike over one and one/half miles of path starting at Barger Park along north Main Street past St. Joseph Indian School to the hills of Roam Free Park. The Scenery is spectacular. There are park benches along the length of the trail. Walk, run, ride or rollerblade up and down the twisty scenic path to and from Roam Free Park. Take a picnic lunch and something to drink with you when you go. No matter the pace you will exert energy. A camera may be a wanted item when you get to the park .... a 360 degree breathtaking view. Always something to see...and a view that never gets old.
