Trail of Governors

The Trail of Governors is a series of bronze statues of the governors of South Dakota made to reflect their life and times creating a trail that winds around the state capitol grounds and downtown Pierre. 

You can learn interesting facts about each governor when you scan the QR Code located at each statue. Paper booklets are also available at the Oahe Dam Visitor Center.
